Legal Aid NSW changes affecting care and protection practitioners

Legal Aid NSW has made two changes to the way practitioners apply for grants in care and protection matters. These changes involve splitting the Stage 3 ('establishment' stage) grant into two parts, as well as changes to the way in which practitioners apply for and claim fees for the preparation of court documents.
