Legal advice for Aboriginal people in Griffith
17 Jan 2012
In collaboration with the Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS) in Griffith, Legal Aid NSW has established a new civil law advice clinic at the ALS office in Griffith.
The aim of the new service is to assist ALS clients (who are already familiar with ALS) with their civil law needs – anything from trouble paying back a loan, problems at work, fines, housing problems or discrimination. The administrative and field staff at the Griffith ALS are an invaluable source of referrals to the new clinic.
The new monthly clinic is in addition to an outreach civil law clinic operating in Griffith Neighbourhood House on a fortnightly basis.
For further information including clinic dates, or to make an appointment, please phone Griffith ALS on 6962 7675.
