Applying for a role at Legal Aid NSW
The Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (GSE Act) which was in 2013, provides a new and simpler statutory framework for dealing with employment and workforce management. It reflects the commitment of the NSW Government to improve the government sector by providing employment arrangements which facilitate high performance, excellent service delivery and rewarding careers.
An important component of the GSE Act are the changes to applying for a role with a Government agency.
To assist you to understand the new requirements, we have developed an emodule. This explains the application process for applying for a role in Legal Aid NSW. It also contains useful tips on:
