Welcome to Legal Aid NSW

Congratulations on your new role in Legal Aid NSW.

You are joining a team of over 1000 employees working to provide access justice to the socially and economically disadvantaged members of our community.

Our staff take great pride in our work, and I hope that with you joining us you will also come to know, admire and contribute to the important and valuable work we do.

Below is a list of documents that you must print, complete and email to erecruitment@legalaid.nsw.gov.au prior to commencing employment with Legal Aid NSW.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Benestar is Legal Aid's Employee Assistance Program provider. EAP provides short-term counselling, coaching and well-being support. This program is designed to assist employees with personal and/or work-related issues that may impact on job performance, health, mental, financial and emotional wellbeing. All Benestar coaches are qualified psychologists.

All employees (ongoing, temporary, casual, and volunteer) and immediate family members have FREE access to ten (10) confidential counselling sessions. This total of 10 is only during COVID and will return to the established number of six (6) post COVID.

Support is available face-to-face (not during COVID -19), telephone, Skype (video), LiveChat, and online. Services can be booked via the 1300 360 364 booking number.
