Submitting accurate claims
To assist you with submitting accurate claims, we have developed a list of questions that you should ask yourself before a claim is submitted to Legal Aid NSW. Answering ‘Yes’ to these questions will ensure that you submit an accurate claim. Where you answer ‘No’ to any of the questions relevant to the claim you are submitting, please click on the question to find out how you can change your answer to ‘Yes’.
All claims for fees and disbursements made by lawyers in legally aided matters must be submitted via Grants Online and lawyers must accept payment via electronic transfer. If you are unfamiliar with the process of submitting claims via Grants Online, please view the videos below for a demonstration.
