Aboriginal Employment and Career Development Strategy launches in NAIDOC Week

In the spirit of walking together for a better future, Legal Aid NSW has officially launched a new Aboriginal Employment and Career Development Strategy.
The Strategy aims to support the employment and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff at Legal Aid NSW.
Currently, we have 78 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff in our organisation, which equates to approximately 6 percent of our workforce.
Under the strategy we aim to increase our employment target to 11 percent to ensure that our workforce better reflects our Aboriginal client base.
