Cooperative Legal Service Delivery (CLSD)

Regional Justice Partnerships

The CLSD Program supports 12 regional justice partnerships in NSW.

The purpose of each partnership is to build and nurture a network of legal assistance and community services to increase access to justice and improve legal and social outcomes for people experiencing social or economic disadvantage or dislocation.

Each partnership is supported by a regional coordinator who hosts a meeting of their partnership 4 times a year. Partnerships develop an action plan every second year to guide their work. The regional profile for each region includes maps and population information prepared by the NSW Law and Justice Foundation, featuring their need for legal assistance services (NLAS) indicators and legal assistance priority client groups.

The CLSD Program unit publishes a quarterly report on all of the partnerships which includes headline access to justice issues from the regions.
