  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

    Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

    Converge is Legal Aid NSW’s Employee Assistance Program provider. EAP provides short term counselling/coaching and wellbeing support to all employees and their eligible immediate family members and is paid for by Legal Aid NSW.

    The program is external to Legal Aid NSW and promotes an early intervention approach to assist individuals to resolve a broad range of work or personal issues before they impact adversely on them and cause deterioration in their health and wellbeing.

    EAP can help with matters such as (but not limited to):

    • Personal and workplace relationships
    • Gambling, drug, alcohol, and other addictions
    • Communication and relationship tension, conflict, and breakdown
    • Work and personal stress
    • Work, career, and life changes
    • Anger and violence
    • Emotional difficulties
    • Grief and loss
    • Sleep and fatigue

    Services can be booked by phone on 1300 687 327, seven days per week.
