NCAT Housing Appeals Advice Hotline

Legal advice for tenants appealing NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) tenancy orders.

The  NCAT Housing Appeals Advice Hotline is a Legal Aid NSW service consisting of specialist housing solicitors, for tenants who want to appeal an NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) decision about their tenancy

We can help both social housing tenants and tenants renting in the private market.

If you want to appeal a tenancy decision made by NCAT, we can give tenants free legal advice.

Advice and Assistance

We can give you free advice about your tenancy orders that were made by the Tribunal (NCAT). We can tell you about your appeal options.

We may be able to help you if:

  • you have orders terminating your tenancy agreement
  • you have orders requiring you to pay money to your landlord
  • NCAT orders were made in your absence.
Representation

Legal Aid NSW may be available to represent you if you are eligible for a grant of legal aid.

If you want advice, please call Legal Aid’s NCAT Housing Appeals Advice Hotline on (02) 9219 5800.
